The Food Smarts Program is overseen by our Registered Dietitian, Julia Snell. Julia teaches the local community about making healthy food schoices and introduces them to our partnership with Aggrigator Inc. to help meet the food needs of our patients. With Aggrigator's help, we are able to provide our patients with healthy and nutritious food boxes that can be delivered to their door.
Julia is able to meet with patients to provide knowledge and skills for a healthy diet and ensure that patients are able to connect with community resources such as CalFresh and WIC to have a long-term positive impact on their food security. On top of this, Julia also teaches cooking demonstrations in the Soledad High School Mission Room on Tuesdays from 4-5:30pm. Call today to register at 831-678-2665 ext. 509.
